The Minimalists
Minimalism is a movement that advocates living with the least amount of stuff. It can be a challenging lifestyle to adopt, but it offers many benefits such as increased happiness, better health and freedom from debt. The Minimalists podcast features interviews with minimalists who share their experiences and advice on how to get started. Listeners can also learn from the hosts, Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus, who have built a huge following online. They also write books on minimalism and have spoken at Harvard, Apple and other companies.
The Minimalists podcast has a wide variety of guests including psychologists, business people and parents. They discuss a range of topics such as balancing holding on and letting go, minimising digital music clutter and how to deal with heartbreak. They also talk about the importance of putting your values in writing and how minimalism has helped them to find peace in difficult times.
In addition to their podcast, The Minimalists also have a blog where they discuss their personal journey towards minimalism. They also run a business where they provide services to help others start their own minimalistic lifestyle. They have also appeared in a number of media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine.
In 2016, The Minimalists released their first feature-length film, Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things. The film was nominated for a Daytime Emmy award and has been seen by millions of people worldwide. The film includes interviews with neuroscientists and academicians as well as former retail workers, stoke brokers and managers who have become minimalists. The film also highlights the philanthropic work of Joshua and Ryan, who have donated to various causes over the last decade, including building two orphanages, supporting victims of natural disasters, funding a high school for a year in Kenya and purchasing thousands of mosquito nets to combat malaria.
The Art of Charm
The Art of Charm is a great podcast for anyone interested in social skills and personal development. The podcast is a combination of interviews with interesting guests and practical advice from the hosts. AJ and Johnny make the listening experience fun and easy to digest. I listen to the podcast every day while driving to work and it is a great way to pass the time. I highly recommend it!
The premise of The Art of Charm is that you can learn to become more comfortable in social situations, build stronger connections with people and express yourself as an artist. The podcast has many helpful tips for making small talk, overcoming shyness and overcoming self doubt. The episodes are very easy to listen to and they will help you become more confident in your interactions with others. The podcast has been a great source of encouragement and has helped me overcome some of my social anxiety. I love that the hosts AJ and Johnny are real people and they share their own experiences with the audience. They are also very funny!
Although the curriculum has changed since I first attended, it still focuses on mastering basic sociability and networking skills. I also appreciate that it avoids the non-sensical pickup garbage that confuses men and detriments their results. In addition to the curriculum, the Bootcamp offers alumni events and meetups that provide an opportunity to continue building relationships with other successful people.
There are some things that I wish The Art of Charm did better, such as the quality of the video demonstrations. Some of the video demonstrations are over exaggerated and don’t look natural. Additionally, there are some videos that don’t explain how to practice the techniques.
